The Wicked story is about two friends begin as sourcery students at Shiz University in Oz.
The girls have very different views, personalities, likes and love interests which eventually drives a barrier between them to the point where they fall out. Elphaba is seen as the ‘wicked witch’ due to some of her action and is victimised because of her views against the corrupt wizard government in Oz. She is also ostracised because she has electric ‘green’ skin and is different.
Follow the witches through their good times and their bad, and experience their encounters that eventually shape their lives. See how Elphaba eventually becomes ‘the Wicked Witch of the West’ and Ginda becomes the ‘Glinda the Good Witch of the North.

About Wicked – The Musical

Wicked The Musical is loosely based on the Gregory McGuire novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. The novel followed on from the 1939 classic film, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The show began in London’s West End at the Apollo Theatre in 2006 and has gone from strength to strength with its ever-increasing popularity and charm. In 7 years it has notched up over 1500 performances with people coming back for more. The production has won various awards including the Whatsonstage Award for Best West End Show (2009), and an Olivier Audience Award for Most Popular Show.

If you book your tickets in enough time, we can send them to a UK postal address within 7-10 days of the performance. If you would like them delivered to a Central London Hotel on the morning of the performance, there is a £15 delivery charge.

If you are booking from outside the UK we can deliver your tickets to your London hotel (£15 charge) or you can collect your tickets

Getting to the Apollo Theatre

The Apollo Victoria Theatre is located between Wilton Road and Vauxhall Bridge Road in Central London. The main entrance (and Box Office) is located on Wilton Road.

Victoria (Circle, District and Victoria lines). Victoria Underground Station is located directly adjacent to the theatre (Wilton Road exit/entrance).

Victoria Coach Station is located at 164 Buckingham Palace Road, SW1W 9TP, approx 300 metres from the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
