The Lion King Story

As the story unfolds, Scar plots to kill Simba and King Mufasa so he can take his place as the new Lion King. After a sneaky plan Scar lures Mufasa and Simba to a gorge where he trys to kill them both. Mufasa almost escapes but Scar throws him into the path of stampeding wildebeests. Simba escapes and flees the Kingdom thinking it was all his fault.

Simba wanders aimlessly but then meets new friends Timon and Pumbaa who teach him the ways of the earth and share their philosophy of life: "Hakuna Matata," which means "no worries.

Together they share a journey and adventures. Simba grows into a mature young Lion and readys himself to return back to the Kingdom to confront the evil Scar and to claim his rightful place as true The Lion King.
