The Blood Brothers Story

Blood Brother is the tale of twins, Mickey and Eddie, who are separated at birth because their mother cannot afford to bring up two children. One raised by a poor upbringing and the other raised by wealth, they eventually meet and begin to develop a strong relationship.

After discovering they both share the same birthday, they declare a pact to become ‘blood brothers’ and, from then on, share a strong bond. From then on, reunited at different stages in their life and eventually sharing the love of the same girl, the brothers fight for what they believe in with tragic circumstances.

A stunning story with twists and turns at every juncture. Blood Brothers addresses lives at either ends of the social spectrum and now has a cult following.

Blood Brothers Reviews

'The music soared, the tiny audience and committed cast laughed and cried together. Very special. Highly recommended.' – The BBC

‘Russell's musical – remarkably, he wrote the book, music and lyrics – has lost none of its dry-as-a-bone scouse wit, nor its terrible power to move as it reaches its quarter century.’ – The Independent

‘Blood Brothers is an emotionally true performance that grips from the start.’ – The Telegraph
